Signal processing board

The digital processing board is mainly used to suppress ground clutter in radar echoes, detect target echo signals, measure target position parameters, and complete functions such as data processing, target classification, and target route management. In addition, the digital processing system also has real-time control functions, including central station control, fusion of positioning equipment information, and fault detection and positioning.

Radar signal processing is designed with full digital processing and low power consumption. The structure requires high density, small size, and high system reliability.

Radar control function

Work mode status control function

The digital processing system parses the control commands sent by the terminal computer, completes the working mode control of various subsystems of the radar such as frequency synthesizer, T/R module, receiver, servo through multiple sets of external serial ports, and receives the working status parameters of each subsystem through it.

Time sequence signal generation function

Generate timing pulse signals required for the digital signal processing board itself, frequency synthesizer, transceiver components, etc. The starting period and width can be flexibly set by parameters set by the terminal computer.
 

Object detection function

The signal processing board performs bandpass sampling on the sum and difference 2-channel intermediate frequency analog signals sent by the receiver, obtains the baseband complex signal through digital down conversion, and then performs signal processing algorithms such as sum and difference calibration, pulse compression, coherent accumulation, constant false alarm detection, single pulse azimuth angle measurement, velocity deblurring, etc., to detect the presence or absence of targets and extract parameters such as target position and motion.
 

Automatic recognition function

Security radar has the function of automatically classifying and recognizing targets such as vehicles, personnel, and low altitude drones. It mainly uses the micro Doppler subtle features generated by target micro movements to achieve this. The unique features of different targets in micro movements are usually unique and can accurately reflect the subtle features of different targets.
 

Anti clutter function

Due to the complexity of the ground and sea environments, signal processing plans to use optimized coherent accumulation narrowband filter banks, two-dimensional constant false alarm, clutter maps, and other algorithms to detect targets in ground clutter and meteorological clutter. By applying these technologies, the ability to detect targets in clutter can be improved.
 

Data processing function

The plan adopts TWS data processing mode, which can effectively complete target tracking within the monitoring area. The antenna beam is scanned electronically in a stepwise manner within a range of ± 45 °, and is subjected to scanning while tracking (TWS) processing.
